Multi-Pax Terms and Conditions

By checking this box, you accept our terms and conditions of service.

Please note that the multi-pax terms and conditions stated herein are an extension of Hubryde’s terms of service

1. Effective Date

Subscriber will define the Start Date of the subscription on the web application. The effective date does not include Saturday, Sunday, and National Holidays. Any subscription plan created on Weekends and Holidays will automatically be pushed to the nearest workday

2. Expiry Date

Expiry date will be defined automatically by the system based on the subscription plan and will NOT be extended. The duration of the subscription excludes Saturday, Sunday, and Public holiday.

3. Delete Subscription

Active subscriptions cannot be deleted.

4. Notification

By subscribing to a trip plan, you automatically sign up for in-app and email notifications and a weekly newsletter from Hubryde.

5. Change Pick-up Time

A Subscriber can change the Pick-up Time to a more flexible time 12 hours before the trip.

6. Waiting Time

Hubryde Bus will only wait for 2 mins at the bus stop. We do not want to delay the driver.

7. Default Request

A Subscriber can log a default request on the mobile app 12 hours before the scheduled pick-up time to notify Hubryde of their non-availability and avoid a 30% penalty fee.

8. Default Limit

This refers to the maximum number of times a Subscriber can submit a Default Request under an active subscription plan.

• Easy-Go: Not Allowed

• 2-Sure (2 Trips) – 2 Working days: 1 Request

• Trois (3 Trips) – 3 Working days: 1 Request

• 5-Aside (5 Trips) – 5 Working days: 2 Requests

• Kampe (10 Trips) – 10 Working days: 4 Requests

• Kampe-reloaded (20 Trips) – 20 Working days: 6 Requests

• Bi-Mon’ (40 Trips) – 40 Working days: 8 Requests

• Quartz (60 Trips) – 60 Working days: 10 Requests

9. Missed Trip

A Subscriber will be charged 30% of the actual ride fare when they miss a trip without logging a default request.

10. Penalty Fee

A 30% penalty fee on the current trip applies when a subscriber does not log a default request and misses their trip.

Example: Let’s say a Subscriber was supposed to take a trip from Point A to Point B which costs N5000 and they miss their trip with no prior notice through the default request channel, the system takes N1500 (0.3 * N5000 = N1500) on that trip. This is to enable us to cover for the cost of forgoing a trip demand that was available but not considered because the seats were reserved for the subscriber.

11. Unused Trip

Unused trips after the expiry date will be converted to available fund and returned to Subscriber’s mobile wallet. Example: Let’s say a Subscriber buys 5-Aside (5 Trips) – 5 Working days for N40,000 and ended up using only 3 trips before the expiry date, the remaining trip balance (2 trips) will be converted to cash (N40,000/5 * 2 = N16,000) and returned to the Subscriber’s mobile wallet.

12. Renew Plan

Subscribers can renew their current subscription plan when they exhaust their trips before or after the expiry date.

13. Charges on Excessive Pick-up and Drop-off Points

Customers can select up to 10 pick-up or drop-off locations, but only three (3) pick-up or drop-off points are free. Extra pick-up or drop-off points will attract a 3% increase in fare. This is to enable us to offer an incentive to the driver for multiple stops.

14. Operational Period Fare

Ride fares are categorized into three (3) operational periods.

(i). Custom Period Fare: This is the base fare for all multi-pax subscription plans. This fare applies to pick-up times between 5:00AM to 6:59AM and 2:00PM to 5:59PM.

(ii). Peak Period Fare: An additional 10% is added to the custom period fare. This fare applies to pick-up times between 7:00AM to 8:59AM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Peak period fare applies when there is a surge in travel demand resulting in high vehicular traffic which causes traffic congestion. A 10% increase in fare is to enable us to incentivize drivers for consuming more fuel while in traffic congestion.

(iii). Off-peak Period Fare: This is a 10% reduction in custom period fare. This fare applies to pick-up times between 9:00AM to 1:59PM. A reduction in fare is designed to incentivize commuters moving at off-peak hours. At this time, there is a reduction in vehicular traffic and drivers can arrive at customers’ destinations faster.
